S. Norton offers scrap metal collection services, and can provide bins or skips at your business premises. All sizes of scrap metal, from mixed metal household clearances to commercial end of life scrap, can be collected and processed.
Our Liverpool and Manchester sites have facilities to process scrap metals, and a recent £20m investment has resulted in greatly increased processing capacity at our Manchester site.
Our local representative will assist you in making sure your scrap metal collection is dealt with efficiently. Then you can either arrange scheduled collections co-ordinated with your production cycles or request on-demand collections, whichever is more convenient.
Collections and facilities
We will collect and recycle a range of scrap metals including alloy steel, carbon steel, cast iron and wrought iron or non ferrous metal such as aluminium, stainless steel, brass, lead and copper.

Full audit trail
S. Norton provides a full audit trail with all documentation including certificates of destruction (CODs), weighbridge tickets and waste transfer notes. Our weighbridges in Liverpool and Manchester are independently checked and calibrated to UKAS standards, so you can be confident that your materials are being weighed accurately when selling to us.
